DIY: Driftwood & Terrarium Airplant Wall Hanging

Lindsay and Jeremiah of the Portland-based blog Ladybird and Fellow sent in this fantastic "weekend project" to us today but we couldn't wait till the weekend to share.  So make a plan and head down to the beach to scoop up some driftwood (or the forest for some dropped branches) soon to make this au natural project!  Click here to see how they made and hung theirs (including how cheap it was).  Did you know you can get those little terrariums for just $3.95?  Thanks Lindsay and Jeremiah!

Yet another thing to fuel my unhealthy air plant obsession, I see! :D

I have always loved air plants. 18 Karat on South Granville used to sell them... *sigh*
I have been told it is not possible to bring them into Canada anymore. Is this true?
Do you know where I can buy? (Lower Mainland)

Lovely idea! It can be so challenging to incorporate branches and driftwood into decor in a way that doesn't seem to forced, but this definitely works.

A future project for the beach house I'll have one day...I'm all for low maintenance plants! They have a better chance of survival in my presence.

It's pretty decor that adds a earthy, yet modern look to a wall. Love it. :)
