I don't want anyone to eat this cake: it should be preserved in an air-tight, light-controlled museum-like environment for generations to come to admire it's beauty. This is no cake--it is art.
I agree with Shay, but I wouldn't definitely crack and eat half of it. It's so beautiful and looks delicious.
gorgeous cake! i love that it's unlike anything i've seen before.
Jaw-dropping gorgeous. (!!!)
Shay - that's so funny! and you are right - it's so beautiful - but i can almost smell the lemon icing on it...

Oh my what a sweet idea! it looks delicious!
while this cake is gorgeous, the instructions are a complete mess! they are so wrong in key parts of the process. the curd was not easy to make given the instructions, and the whole thing really does not hold up accordingly. i followed the instructions very carefully and found them very frustrating. the icing used to create this image was certainly NOT the one that was given. all in all, great concept but terrible instructions. plus, i tried making this for a special occasion and failed miserably. it took me two days to complete it and i am a pretty skilled baker. so sad.
