Dream Tree Challenge Sneak Peek!

Product from Michaels was provided for this challenge.

So the folks from Michaels invited us recently to participate in a Dream Tree Challenge for the holidays; a fun little adventure I might add where with pre-lit tree in hand, we were asked to create our dream tree from scratch. (How fun is that)? At first I was a bit overwhelmed, I mean what direction would I take? As many of you know the options there from pre-made to make your own decorations are endless; in fact I think half of the store was basically set up solely for the holidays! From baking to knitting, I was thinking I could go in so many directions. So about 10 minutes into browsing, I turned a corner and then I saw it! My dream tree inspiration!  A group of sparkly, retro-inpired robots and astronauts just waiting to be loved. (I mean how could I not resist)? I can't wait to show you more and the big reveal come Monday or Tuesday!

I've wanted ornaments like these for years! I immediately went to the Michaels website and couldn't find anything, so frustrating.

Our tree is full with stuff like this every year. We have a robot, a glittery jellyfish, toadstools, animals, a guitar, cupcakes, you name it. Kids love it, I guess we're just big kids ourselves ;)
