Today I'm excited to share with you some free super-fun printable gift tags for your wrapping holiday pleasure - thanks to Los Angeles-based illustrator/hand letterer, Emily McDowell. I asked Emily if she could make up some chalkboard-inspired gift tags for our readers, and I'm loving what she delivered! These would look great against anything from kraft paper, red checks, even black! I hope you can use them - they're easy to print up and cut out (print on label paper, regular (then just glue) or punch a hole in a corner and pull a piece of twiner or yarn through them. Click HERE for the pdf. A huge thanks to Emily! Please visit her online and read more about her beautiful hand lettering and illustration work (see links below):

These are perfect! Beautiful work Emily and thanks for sharing Jan :)
I'm thinking of using these *even though* yuletide wishes for 'warmth' and 'coziness' are the furthest thing from my mind during our heatwave-y summer Christmases! Just goes to show you that I genuinely like them. ;) Thank you for being generous with your artwork. I love that.

Thank you so much for these! They are ADORABLE to say the least! I just printed them on white card stock, and adhered them onto a deep red card stock and they were perfect! I think these are the best I've seen, and I love the chalkboard look! I'm secretly hoping you come up with some for next year! Thanks again for sharing your talents with all of us!
I'm a big fan of the chalkboard. Great tags!
