We recently came across the work of London Kaye (@madebylondon) on Instagram and immediately fell down a rabbit hole of unique street art. A classically trained dancer who discovered her passion for crochet at the age of thirteen, London dove into the local street-art scene and began developing her signature style by crocheting on fences.
She has adorned the windows of ABC Carpet and Home and has recently crocheted pieces for major brands including Starbucks, Miller Lite, Chex Mix, and the TBS Network.
Let's take a look at her work:
Today was my last day working at Apple, so naturally I yarnbombed a chair in our break room as my final farewell!! I have been there for 5 years and I cannot express the love and gratitude I have for being able to work with such an amazing group of people and for such a forward thinking company. Because of the lessons and skills I have learned I am now able to support myself and run my own company! I cannot wait to start 2016 crocheting and doing what I love 100% of the time. One day we will live in a world where everyone knows their Apple ID. Sorry for the rant. It's just such a big moment.
