As a new business it can be hard to gain notice in the sea of competition out there so I really appreciate how Poppytalk Handmade creates a curated environment for makers shine in. During my time at the market I noticed a definite jump in visitors to my site and even more exciting to me was that my work was noticed by other blogs and even a print publication. Jan was also completely accessible and helpful and did a great job of promoting the makers in the market on Poppytalk and in features on other sites like Etsy when she was asked to do guest posts. Jan and Earl have put together a wonderful venue in Poppytalk Handmade and I hope to be back soon with new goodies. Thanks! (December 2010)

Poppytalk has been great. I absolutely love it and have nothing but praise for what they do. I've really enjoyed my time in their marketplace.They are super respectful and excited about handmade, independent work and its producers, and creativity in general. They are pretty creative about the ways that they promote it, too. They also have the distinction of being the very first to do something like this. (April 2010)

I have to tell you, so many people came to my booth saying they had seen me on Paper Pops at PoppyTalk...and that is how they knew to come to my booth. I know that participating in the market really helped introduce me to buyers who were definitely looking for something new and independent.
The show was big-- and it seemed to me that telling people in your audience I was going to be there *before* actually getting there, helped me get traffic I otherwise would not have seen- there was simply so much area to cover that it's easy for sellers to get lost.
So-- I really wanted to thank you for all your work, and the thought behind all you are doing...it's obvious you put a great deal of thought into it....and to let you know it's working...really well.
